Pastel Season: Floral Printed Spring Set!

Hello and Happy Friday!

It has been so beautiful lately! And to celebrate that I am breaking out my pastels and floral prints!

This Target set is so comfortable and beautiful! It is the epitome of a Spring look!
From the pastels to the floral prints, to the balloon sleeve, and the ruffled skirt, I felt like I should be breaking into song! I didn't -in case you were wondering!

I love how feminine it is! Though I would not consider it my signature style, it is nice to feel like a girly-girl sometimes.

One of my favorite parts of this look is the pop of highlighter yellow! These strappy, block heels are a spring/summer staple in my opinion! They really complete this look!
You also might notice my turquoise, drop earrings!

This is one of the rare times I chose to wear dramatic earrings. I could not tell you why I don't often wear dressier earrings. But I don't! Typically, I will wear studs if anything. But I spied this pair and could not help myself from styling with the set. And they worked perfectly! It is like they were made for this look!

What do you guys think? Are you a fan of this look? If so, the set is at Target. They have it a black/white, polka dot print as well. And also a matching dress, which I also like a lot! I will link it below!

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great weekend ahead! =D

Hello and Happy Monday!

It's a beautiful day today, but when I took these pictures, it looked like the bottom was about to fall out of the sky! (And it did later on!) I took my chances anyway, but I styled accordingly!

Thank goodness I did too! As it began to rain on me. Sprinkling at first, and I figured I could power through. But of course, it gradually became a steadier rain. That's when I packed up and left for the time being.
I had been wanting to style this knitted polo for a while, however it took some time to get the right look. I actually had taken pictures in a completely different look but as I edited them, I just did not feel like it was the right look. So, I played around and came up with this sporty chic look!

I love the gold/yellow and black color theme. It is simple, sporty, and pulls together perfectly. i think the polo, adds interest to the look. I could have easily gone with a sweatshirt or denim jacket, but this polo is different! It is unique!

Also, peep the sneakers! They are a little bit of a splurge! I rarely buy sneakers, to be honest with you, but I had an urge for a black pair of sneakers and just so happened to have an Amazon gift card! I also got the seal of approval from my sister, who is a sneaker lover/expert!
And finally, the look was really tied together by the Lululemon belt bag! I love the bag! I love that it frees up my hands for other things -particularly this day when I had to spring to my car hurriedly in the rain- but posing for pictures hands free is strange to me!

This shoot took a lot longer than most because I would take a picture, check to see how it came out, only for it to come out so awkwardly! I am cringing now thinking about them! That is definitely something that will take some getting used to as I feel like this look is going to in constant rotation this spring/summer!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed! And I will see you on Wednesday!

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

I hope you all are doing well!

I am on a bit of an Urban Outfitters kick lately!  In the last post, my knit polo was from Urban Outfitters and in this post, the jumpsuit is also from Urban Outfitters!

From the design to the color (psst! it comes in two other colors!) to the fit, it is the jumpsuit of my dreams!
This jumpsuit is so freaking soft! It feels like... I am not even sure what to compare it to! It is almost like wearing a stylish blanket! Its soft, breezy, and easy to style! This pairing is probably the most obvious pairing in my opinion. But I am looking forward to styling it other ways.

The material is very forgiving! I was really bloated when taking these pictures and the idea of putting on anything other than sweats sounded miserable. But this jumpsuit was very appreciated! There is light ruching detail on the bodist part of the suit. The wide legged design are just plain fun! I love how they flow when I walk!

This look is definitely a hard launch into spring!

It will also suit me well during the summer!
When I was shooting this look, we had roofers at our house. It was a long day of trying to dodge shingles being flung off the roof, while getting to my car., but I made it work!

I was shooting at a shopping center nearby. It was FREEZING out! But this was the planned look! If I stray away from planned looks it can be an ADD nightmare! I might not get anything done! So, I went ahead with this look. I got a bunch of great pictures in, and then I saw this grassy median area with a bunch of trees in bloom! That is where I had a lot of fun!

At one point I even laid down in the grass, probably looking like a lunatic to passers by! But the pictures came out great! I took a lot of those on my phone, but I was pleased with them.

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great weekend ahead!

Hello and Happy Monday!

Happy Easter as well!

I have a short but sweet look to share with you today, to kick the week off. It is this tennis skirt/shirt set! I know I say this a lot, but I feel like this look is another that will be in constant rotation this spring and summer!
It is an extremely breezy outfit! Even though the shirt has long sleeves, it is very light weight, so it will not be too hot in the summer. The skirt pretty much speaks for itself. It is a bit on the short side. Thankfully, there are built in shorts underneath, so there is no risk in anything showing!

For me, this look really put itself together. It was a no brainer. All of the pieces just fell into place to create a sporty, girly look!

I even styled my hair different! I knew this look was coming up and I envisioned it with a thick headband like this one. So, the morning I went to shoot, I swung by Walgreens and got a pack of five. I was not 100 percent sure if I would be able to pull it off. As it turns out, I love how it looks! I love how easy it is to wear! I love my hair being back and out of my face!

Why have I not been wearing these headbands my entire life!?
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy this post!

I hope you have a great week ahead! I will see you on Wednesday!

Hello and Happy Friday!

I just have a quick post for today. Its Friday and I am not sure I am ready for the weekend, if I am being honest. Weekends usually mean work for me -and not the fun, styling work. On top of that, I am pet sitting for my parents and the pups get really anxious when they leave -which means none of us sleep very well!

But I'm going to try and be positive! Hopefully we will all sleep well, and the weekend will go pretty smoothly! =D
Today's look is one that I actually shot back in September. Ironically, I had just come off a rough weekend then too! I thought it was a great seasonal transition look. And it works well as a Spring transitional look!

It is a pretty basic, just wide legged jeans and a crop top. To keep it a bit interesting I added this faux leather bag.

I remember taking these pictures, it felt so nice outside! It was such a welcomed relief and a great way to clear my head after a long weekend. That is what I will be looking forward to this coming weekend! When I can get out and style more looks/take more pictures -use my creative side.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all have a great weekend ahead!

See you guys on Monday!

Hello all! Happy Monday!

I hope you all are well!

I have to report that it was a very pleasant weekend, this weekend! Even though I had to work, it went smoothly! I had mentioned in Friday's post that I was kind of dreading it, because last weekend was rough. Now, I am ready for the new week ahead and ready to get some stylings started!
This look is one of my newest favorite looks! I love this off-the-shoulder denim jacket! It is such an unusual piece! I personally have never seen anything quite like it. It kept popping up on online ads for Shein, and I loved the look of it. My hesitation though was that it would not lay as effortlessly on me as it seemed to in the ad. So, I held off on buying it for a while.

Finally, I could not hold off any longer! I bit the bullet and bought it. As it turns out, it fits almost exactly like it does on the ad! I do not find myself constantly tugging on it or readjusting it or anything.

I personally like it a lot against a white color pallet, as you can see. I think it has a very chic feel to it!
In general, this look is a pretty comfortable and chic look for Spring. I already have worn this styling out twice! Once to dinner and once to grab coffee with a friend, and both times I got a few compliments!  (A sure sign of a good find!)

I have a few other ideas for ways to style this gem! I cannot wait to share them with you!

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

See you on Wednesday!

Hello and Happy Friday friends!

I hope you all are doing well!

I feel like this has been the fastest week I have ever had! I do not really know what made it seem to go by so quickly, but here we are at Friday already!

I also feel like I have been on a strong creative streak! I have ideas on top of ideas of outfit stylings! I have several video ideas and upcoming events where I will get a lot of content. I love it when this happens, but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming! I feel like I want to do it all at once! Journaling helps me out a lot with that! Writing those ideas down, trying to come up with a timeline as to when to get it all done. It really takes some of the pressure off!
Today's look is one of the more minimalistic looks I have created.

I was in need of a comfortable outfit to wear on the go, and this was my solution! A dark wash denim jumpsuit paired with booties and a chain belt. Truth be told, the booties were only worn during this shoot and then later for a dinner. For a large chunk of the day I opted for sandals. But the booties caught my eye and you guys know I love a pop of color! So, I went for it!

This jumpsuit is SO comfortable though and pretty versatile! I dressed it up and down in this day alone! Since this is the base of the look, I am really just styling around it.
This jumpsuit actually vaguely reminds me of the year(s) that I dressed up as Michael Myers for Halloween. I found one of those jumpsuits at Walmart solely for Halloween, but weirdly enough I actually loved the fit of it! In the back of my head, I wanted to find a chic way to style it. This jumpsuit is very similar -just much more fitted and chicer!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead!

I will see you on Monday!

Hello and Happy Monday!

I wanted to kick this week off with a touch of glamour!

If you watched my styling video this week, you will already be familiar with this dress!
This dress is from Uoozee, and I was drawn to it because of the design and the color. Both are unique and beautiful. My only gripe with Uoozee is that it takes a long time for your package to arrive! I had ordered another piece at the same time, but they did not arrive together. It took the other piece a while to arrive! So long, I thought maybe there had been some mix up with the order. That said, I have only experienced really good customer service when communicating with them. They were kind, quick to reply, and informative. So, I will probably continue to order from them!

When I was styling this dress, my initial thought was to keep all of my accessories gold. So, when I first headed out, I had a gold clutch. As luck would have it, I forgot the piece to my tripod that holds my phone, so I can get pictures and videos on there. I went back home to get it and on a whim, I decided to switch the gold clutch with this peacock clutch. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I made that small change!

I think it makes such a world of difference!

The bag stands so beautifully against the color of the dress! I feel like it takes it from 'mmm okay' to ''what a great look!'

Plus, peacocks just happen to be one of my favorite animals! ;)
The final piece to this look was the shoes. I had held off on this look for a while because I wanted to find the right shoes to go with it. I knew gold heels would be the best fit, but they were a little hard to come by!

As I mentioned in the video, some of the heels I came across were too chunky or had too many straps, or bows, or wrapped all the way up the leg -think gladiator style heels. They just seemed too much. This look called for a very minimal look. I finally came across these beauties on Amazon! I think they compliment the look perfectly.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed!

See you on Wednesday for another styling! =D

Hello! Happy Friday my friends!

I hope you all are doing well!

Just a quick post for today!
It is already beginning to feel like summer, so I am trying to dress/style accordingly. But it is not easy!

Layering is key!

I styled a fitted, orange dress with a button down over top of the dress. It was perfect for the cooler mornings! It looks chic and provides a little bit of warmth. BUT once the heat kicks in, it is easy to remove and just wear the dress as is.

I also love that both of these are solids. Don't get me wrong, I love a print. But there is also something refreshing and simplistic about pairing solids together.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

Stay cool!

See you guys on Monday! =D

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!

Just a quick post for today!

I wanted to kick the week off with a very simple but killer color theme: black and silver!
This color combo is very chic!

I remember just wanting to pair the tough denim jacket against a softer, silk dress and the rest just fell into place!

These silver heels are probably my favorite pair of heels that I have gotten in a while! They have really come in handy! Especially with this look!
Thank you so much for reading and I will see you on Wednesday!

Have a great week! =D
